Tallies
A tally is a single thing you're counting — water intake, daily expenses, page counts, whatever. Each tally has its own name, color, icon, unit, schedule, and optional goal.
Creating a tally
Tap the + in the sidebar. Pick the name, color, icon, unit, schedule, and (optionally) a goal. Tap Create.
You can create up to 3 tallies on the free tier, and unlimited with AnyTally Pro.
Editing a tally
Swipe right on a tally in the sidebar and tap Edit. On Mac you can also right-click and choose Edit.
You can change any setting — name, color, icon, unit, schedule, or goal — at any time. Your existing rows aren't affected.
Deleting a tally
Swipe left on a tally in the sidebar and tap Delete. On Mac you can also right-click and choose Delete.
The tally and all its rows are removed. This can't be undone.
Sidebar order
Tallies in the sidebar are sorted by the most recently opened, so the one you're using now is always on top.
Units
You can pick a unit per tally:
- Plain number — unitless count
- Currency — your local currency by default, USD if not supported
- Calories, Steps, Minutes, Hours
- Kilometers, Miles
- Kilograms, Pounds
- Milliliters, Liters
- Percentage
The unit changes how values are formatted in rows and the total. You can change a tally's unit later; existing rows keep their numeric values and re-format under the new unit.
