Goals

Every tally can have a goal — a target to reach or a limit to stay under. The total footer shows a progress bar that turns green when you hit a target and red when you cross a limit.

Setting a goal

When you create or edit a tally, scroll to the Goal section:

  1. Toggle Goal on.
  2. Choose Reach (target) or Stay under (limit).
  3. Enter the value.

Save the tally. The progress bar appears in the total footer immediately.

You can change or remove a goal at any time.

Reach (target)

The bar fills up as your total climbs toward the goal. When the total meets or passes the goal, the number turns green.

Use this for things you want to do more of — drinking water, walking steps, reading pages.

Stay under (limit)

The bar fills up as the total climbs toward the limit. When the total passes the limit, the number turns red.

Use this for things you want to keep below a threshold — calories, daily spending, screen time.

Goals and periods

The goal applies to the period you're viewing. A 2,500 ml water goal on a daily tally resets each day. A $500 spending limit on a monthly tally applies to the whole month.
